Yes – Our National course is recognised for RSA WA and will also allow you to work in QLD, NT, SA.
“Under section 33 and 35B of the Act, persons seeking approval to occupy positions of authority under a licence, that is; as licensee or as an approved manager, are required to demonstrate that they have successfully completed an approved course in liquor licensing law and in the Responsible Service of Alcohol”
We provide the nationally recognised unit of competency for RSA WA SITHFAB002: Responsible Service of Alcohol. We do not provide a basic awareness course.
“All servers of liquor on licensed premises must also complete an approved training course in the Responsible Service of Alcohol, however, these staff may choose to undertake a basic awareness course or undertake the nationally recognised unit of competency. Bar staff are strongly encouraged to undertake the nationally recognised unit as the Statement of Attainment is recognised in most States and Territories and can, therefore, be transferable.”

RSA WA Benefits and Advantages
- No need to travel great distances to do an RSA WA course
- No need to wait for an RSA WA face to face course to become available
- No need to waste money on travel and accommodation to do a course
Living in Western Australia means that you may have to travel a great distance to find an RSA WA face to face course. You may then have to get accommodation unless you have a friend living there. This can all take up valuable time and take you away from your work for days. Not to mention the costs. However, with an online course, it can be completed at home in the comfort of your own surroundings. Making it a much more affordable and simple process.
Once you have finished the Online course you only have to print out your certificate to show to your boss and you are set to work. In some cases, they may just let you show them a copy of it online by logging back into your course and showing them the details and the certificate.
