RSA Course: Protecting You
And Your Patrons From Harm
An RSA Course trains people involved in the liquour and licenced premises industries to be compliant with all of the current laws surrounding liquor and its service. This ensures that you are best able to protect yourself and your customers from harm. Alcohol is a drug and can be both good and bad for people’s health depending on how much of it is consumed. Since you will be serving the alcohol it is your responsibility to the community to protect people from themselves and others.
Who needs to complete the RSA course?
RSA training applies to:
• licensees;
• approved managers;
• staff, including promotional staff, involved in the sale, supply and service of alcohol;
• volunteers, including club directors, who have liquor service responsibilities and
• security officers with crowd control duties.
When you complete the RSA Course, you will receive an OLGR approved RSA Training Course Certificate which means you can legally work in QLD plus a Statement of Attainment that is nationally recognised for WA, NT and SA.
