Yet another example of the consequences drink driving has been reported on Smh.com.au. A man five times over the legal alcohol limit has been charged following a crash that left woman in hospital in Marulan.
The accident happened just after 1:30pm on Wednesday on the Hume Highway, when the 2 vehicles collided, leaving an 80 year old woman in a serious condition in hospital.
The driver of the second vehicle was uninjured and after being tested by police, returned a positive reading of 0.270. The 32 year old man was arrested at the scene.
