Eighteen year olds that supply alcohol to their underaged counterparts in WA may receive a $10,000 under a new law that comes into effect on Friday.

Even those that have just turned 18, who give their underaged mates alcohol without their parents’ consent, could face a $10,000 fine.

The new laws which ban adults from supplying alcohol to minors in a private setting without the permission of their parents come into effect this week.

These secondary supply laws impose a maximum fine of $10,000.
