RSA WA
Yes – Our National course is recognised for RSA WA and will also allow you to work in QLD, NT, SA, VIC (with refresher), and the ACT.
“Under section 33 and 35B of the Act, persons seeking approval to occupy positions of authority under a licence, that is; as licensee or as an approved manager, are required to demonstrate that they have successfully completed an approved course in liquor licensing law and in the Responsible Service of Alcohol”
We provide the nationally accredited unit of competency for RSA WA SITHFAB009A (Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol). We do not provide the non-accredited abridged course.
“All servers of liquor on licensed premises must also complete an approved training course in the Responsible Service of Alcohol, however, these staff may choose to undertake the non-accredited abridged course, or undertake the nationally accredited unit of competency. Bar staff are strongly encouraged to undertake the nationally accredited unit as the Statement of Attainment is recognised in most States and Territories and can therefore be transferable.”

- Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages responsibly.
- Assist customers to drink within appropriate limits.
- Assist alcohol affected customers.

- licensees;
- approved managers;
- staff, including promotional staff, involved in the sale, supply and service of alcohol;
- volunteers, including club directors, who have liquor service responsibilities and
- security officers with crowd control duties.
