RSA QLD – Getting an RSA QLD Certificate

Getting An RSA QLD Certificate Couldn’t Be Easier

The RSA QLD qualification is simple, yet effective, via the internet. In Queensland your Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) training must come from a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that has been approved by the State’s Office of Liquor Gaming and Racing (OLGR). Unless this accreditation has occurred, an RTO is unable to deliver the Queensland OLGR approved RSA QLD certificate, which is what staff in the State must have.

In order to recieve your RSA QLD Certificate online, you will need to do a course by an accredited RTO approved by OLGR to deliver the RSA QLD course in Queensland and the subsequent RSA QLD certificate.

On top of which, upon completion of the RSA QLD Online Course at RSA Course Online you are also able to immediately print off a Statement of Attainment. This is for completion of the nationally recognised Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol (SITHFAB009A) unit of competency.

This is an RSA certificate in Western Australia, the Northern Territory and also in part in Victoria and South Australia.

The RSA QLD training teaches industry staff how to:

  • Responsibly prepare alcohol
  • Responsibly serve alcohol
  • Encourage responsible consumption
  • Assist those under the influence
  • When it’s appropriate or necessary to refuse service

In Victoria your Statement of Attainment is an RSA certificate when completed in conjunction with the Director of Liquor Licensing’s free, online “refresher” course. In South Australia it can be used in the application to become an Approved Responsible Person.

In the other Australian states and territories the requirements are the same as the RSA QLD needs – the RTOs providing the training must first be approved by the individual liquor authorities (the state or territory’s OLGR equivalent).

Completing the RSA QLD training online at RSA Course Online is so straight-forward, all you need is a computer, the internet and access to a printer. The training can be done during different sittings, if you log off you can come back to the last point you completed later.

You can access your training at any time – day or night, any day of the week. You can train as quickly or as slowly as you require.
